Description : Moonstone gets its amazing glow from an effect called 'adularescence'. It comes from a mineral, trace albite. This is what makes the moon glow. It creates a shimmer inside the milky white gem. Moonstone was often set in Victorian jewelry as it glowed under candlelight. Four moonstone gem cabochons are bezel set, and accented by five, round faceted bezel set sapphires. The botanical theme describes a floral pattern on the shank.
