Description : The late Georgian period was a time dating from 1760-1837, making this ring close to 200 years old. Marked by the Napoleonic War, the French Revolution, and the American Revolution, this era was noted for remarkable industrial and social change, and was very tumultuous. The style and architecture was defined by its symmetry and classical design. A marquise shape holds 15, round Old European cut natural white diamonds set in bezels and prongs. In the center is an oval, faceted dark blue natural sapphire set in 18KY gold. This ring has seen a lot of history and yet it is in great shape for its age. The back set and shank are in 18KY gold.
