Description : David Webb is an iconic name in the jewelry industry. Born in 1925, making a name for himself in Hollywood with some of the most famous actors and actresses like Doris Day and Rock Hudson, David passed away in 1975 at the young age of 50. His work lives on, and several retrospectives of his designs have been revived over 50 years until today. His 'Zebra' bracelet is in the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art. The Mabé pearl is grown within the shell of an oyster, that is produced with a half dome and a flat back. This makes the shape perfect for bezel setting a larger pearl in any jewelry design. The Brutalist style of gold work is created in wax and has a Gothic feel to it. This heirloom ring is a tribute to one of the greatest jewelry designers that has ever lived. This ring comes with its original dustbag.
