Native American 14KY gold and turquoise ring

Description : The Native American artisans rarely work in gold as it was a difficult metal to access. Some artists developed methods to put a gold wash over the item to selectively color areas of a piece of jewelry. This ring is rare, solid 14KY gold, and signed JB. A split shank balances the centerpiece, a natural striking, 15mm long blue nugget turquoise and becomes a double band for the back of the ring. A signature, linear scribed bezel securely surrounds the gemstone. Two spheres accent each side of the split shank. A rarity and national treasure, hand crafted in the United States. Size 8
