Description : Andy Kirk was a Navajo Native American artist and of Isleta Pueblo Heritage. He lived from 1947-2001. He was a multiple award winning jewelry artist, who earned a degree in biology and also worked for the Fish and Wildlife Service in New Mexico. It is rare to see a Native American piece of jewelry fabricated in 14KY gold. The craftsmanship of this piece is that of a master. Using an organic shaped piece of Red Mountain Turquoise, known for its complex web matrix often of reddish hue, the turquoise is bezel set with a finely cut piece of animal horn surrounding it. This unique piece of jewelry is an example of a National Treasure. Size 7.25
