Victorian 10KY gold Bohemian Garnet ring
Victorian 10KY gold Bohemian Garnet ring
Description : Bohemian garnets were formed in volcanic eruptions, and brought to the surface of the earth in gravel by erosion. They are known for their rich, uniformity of deep red color, and used often in Victorian jewelry. The country of origin is the Czech republic. Garnets represent the color of blood, and are noted to give the wearer a feeling of being uplifted. This 10KY gold ring is a fine example of the Bohemiam garnet style of design, with a centerpiece flower, surrounded by a halo of stones, with milgrain edges around each setting. A feminine split scroll on the shank holds the large top in place on the finger. Size 6
