Description : Rose cut diamonds were fashoned specifically for they way that they glowed in candlelight, rather than for brilliant sparkle. The natural white diamond is cut with a flat back, and can set down more closely to the surface of the sterling silver. Three round faceted, 3.5mm emeralds are prong set in a row in gold on this pin. The overall design is scrollwork often seen in Victorian style jewelry, and is a signature of the era. Emerald is the birthstone for May, diamond is for April.
