Description : A beautiful profile of a woman appears contemplative with her hair flowing down in the traditional style of Art Noveau. This era was specifically different from the Victorian style, even though it was in the same time frame, from 1890-1910. The Art Noveau period was very sensuous, and depicted the feeling of botanical motifs, where the Victorian style was edgier, and more representational. In this lovely solid 18KY gold convertible, an old mine cut diamond is set in what is called a star setting, where the metal is engraved up to the stone which secures it.
