Art Noveau 18KY gold, old mine cut diamond pendant/locket

Description : A solid 18KY gold disk, Art Noveau locket/ pendant shows a woman's face embossed on the top with her hair flowing freely. This period of time was also the called the Femme Nouvelle where constrictive hair styles were no longer in fashion and women wore their hair in a more natural manner expressing what was considered 'modern freedom'. An old mine cut diamond is flush set like a star above her head. This locket works well and is excellent condition and awaiting its new owner's contents. The smooth gold back is monogrammed with the original owner's initials.
