Victorian 10KY Opal cluster ring

Description : Four round, 4mm opal cabochons in good condition are prong set neatly in a cluster, on this 10KY gold ring. Opals were originally discovered in the Czech republic and used extensively in turn of the century Victorian designs as a symbol of hope and purity, personal traits also trending in the late 1800's. The side design is simple, but very elegant, as the shank tapers down to approximately a 1.5mm width and the smooth back assures a comfortable fit. Size 5.25
