Description : In the Middle Ages, the crescent of the horshoe was a symbol of the protection from the moon goddess. Horseshoes are now the symbol of good luck. In Native American culture, it was good luck to have your horse, a method of transportation and a status symbol. Horseshoe shaped sterling silver charms dangle from round turquoise posts on these earrings. The inlay in the horshoes are malachite, coral, turquoise and lapis lazuli separated by silver outlines. Every piece is hand fabricated, from the sets to the inlaid gemstones.
