Modern Sterling Silver Uni Anderson earrings

Description : Uni Anderson was David Anderson’s great granddaughter from Norway. Uni, born in 1930 worked with four other women jewelry artists manufacturing her designs, using native gemstones like tiger’s eye and Amazonite. She also managed the continued production of her great grandfather David. She was a progressive modernist in design style, which can be seen in this simple, yet elegant grid design pendant and chain, cast in sterling silver. The influence of her studies with Georg Jensen in the 1950’s in NYC can be instantly recognized. A nice length, these 35mm long earrings are on shepherd’s hooks. They are historic pieces, clearly signed by the 94 year old artist. They match the necklace in our inventory. This is a striking and very rare set.
