Description : The late Georgian period was approximately 1830. The Georgian era spanned from 1714 to 1837 during the British reign of King George I-IV. It was common to use solid 18KY gold that had been milled with fine silver, and fabricated from sheet. It is also typical that there are no maker's marks or hallmarks on 18KY gold Georgian jewelry. These earrings are swirled gold sculptural forms with three eye clean golden Topaz, one for the top, a large center stone and two ovals set East/West on the bottom. The key to these earrings with very long shepherd's hooks that have been replaced to original style, is that they are lightweight and beautifully made. Topaz is November's birthstone, and such a bright, light structural form that can be worn for any occasion. Heirlooms in the making, these Georgian earrings would make any day special as a bonus, they go with everything!
