Description : Micro mosaics are making a big comeback in the market today. The glass filaments that are hand blown, called tesserae, are stretched, and created in an array of colors, and then cut to fit the background material. These earrings possibly represent the Temple of Apollo near Pompeii. The highlights and tones of the glass filaments create the details of the illustration.
