This one is most likely signed by Andrew Lahaate who was a Zuni designer in the 20th century, which dates this very large cuff circa 1960. We often get asked about what is the difference between petit point and needle point in the cutting and setting of turquoise cabochons. Petit point is when one end has a point and the other is rounded, whereas needlepoint has a point on each end of the turquoise. This style of Native American jewelry fabrication was seen first in the 1920's and the 1930's and was generally found in the village of Zuni.
