FRED HARVEY
Native American, Fred Harvey era Sterling Silver and turquoise charm bracelet
Native American, Fred Harvey era Sterling Silver and turquoise charm bracelet
Description : A legend of someon's trip to Santa Fe, most likely in the 1960's each charm has its own meaning, and relationship to that road trip to the Southwest. There is a war axe, an arrowhead, a Northwest totem, a papoose, a water jug, a tipi, a Thunderbird, a Native American portrait, and the most amazing little handmade sterling silver drum you could imagine. The wires are mostly intact in holding the skin down on top of the drum. All the turquoise accents are hand fashioned and bezel set selectively on some of the charms. This is not only a record of someone's very special road trip, but also the typical style of charm created with Native American icons. These charms are hand cast or fabricated for the Southwest tourist trade. This would be such a great gift for someone born in December.
