Description : Influenced by two uncles who were associated with the Hopi Silvercraft Guild, Watson Honanie portrays Hopi culture and ceremonial life. His distinctive signature is the process he developed in 1985 by overlaying 14KY gold onto a sterling silver substrate. His mother was a member of the Bear Clan, and his hallmark is a bear paw. This bracelet is a parade of animals, including the Sunface with a bear, elk, beaver, mountain lion and buffalo. These sacred symbols of Native life are found always in his work. He sadly passed away in October of 2024. This cuff is approximately 40mm wide, and domed for a comfortable fit. Fits a very small wrist.
