Description : Lab grown sapphires date back to the 18th century. They have the same chemical composition and Mohs scale hardness as a natural sapphire does. These 3mmx5mm lab grown emerald cut sapphires are set in platinum with natural diamonds in an articulated style bracelet that is called a 'line' bracelet, meaning that the links and gemstones are all connected in a continuous line. The predecessor to the famous tennis bracelet that was inspired by Chris Everett, this piece was made in the 1920's. Beautifully detailed with open backs behind all the gems for maximum light, the 3mm round natural diamonds are prong set in square shadow boxes in addition to the miligrain accented bezel set, lab grown sapphires to create this intricate and historic, finely crafted piece that drapes perfectly. Built with a locking safety clasp, this bracelet fits a medium size wrist.
