Victorian 14KY gold and blue enamel Forget-Me-Not bangle style bracelet

Description : The origin of the 'Forget Me Not' flower is a tragic and beautiful one. There is a German legend that a young woman and man were standing on the banks of a quickly rushing river. The girl asked her beau to get her a lovely periwinkle colored flower with 5 petals, and when he pulled it from the ground, he fell off the bank and was swept away by the water. His last words were 'forget me not'. This lovely symbolic flower is a distinctive blue color, recreated in enamel, and is shown here, in an engraved, 9.58 grams of solid 14KY gold bangle. Feminine, and meaningful this could be a message to anyone in remembrance of someone special.
