Description : After nearly collapsing from thirst and starvation, a goldsmith named Henry LeBeau saw the design for Black Hills gold in a dream. He imagined grapes, and leaves on a vine, and in 1870 the first Black Hills gold was created. There is yellow gold, pink gold which is alloyed with copper, and green gold which is alloyed with silver. Black Hills gold is the official jewelry of the state of South Dakota, and up until the 1980's when the Homestake Mine was closed, was strictly made from the gold and was produced in the Black Hills themselves. This link bracelet is made from 10K yellow, pink and green gold, and is designed with leaves and grapes as in the tradition of the original concept that LeBeau had dreamed of. Fits a medium wrist. The safety chain is made of gold fill.
