Art Deco platinum and sapphire diamond necklace

Description : Named for the 1925 Parisian exhibit Exposition Internationale decoratif et Industrial Modernes, Art Deco was a period in time from the early 1920's to the 1930's. Based on exquisite materials and fine architectural details, this platinum necklace embodies all of the elements of the Art Deco period. The pear shaped slightly lavender blue sapphire is such a lovely color, measuring approximately 13mm long x 8mm wide. The solid platinum chain is a bar link that holds 9 round, 2.5mm bezel set diamonds with a miligrain accent, found also around the prong set sapphire. The overall length is 15" long and has an oval lobster clasp.
