Mid-Century Modern 14KY gold with yellow agate and diamond ring

Description : A flat round piece of gemstone like this 20mm moss agate, is generally called a tablet. The swirls of this ring are suprising design elements as the band is a double half round shank. The back of the ring swirls upward, and coils around the stone punctuated with a round white diamond prong set in 14K white gold. This ring most likely was designed in wax specifically for this stone, and is quite substantial and yet feels perfectly comfortable on the hand. The weight distribution is very refined, so that the open back semi-translucent agate sits correctly on your finger.
