Early Victorian 10K rose gold, turquoise and pearl ring

Description : The date on this ring is circa 1840. Although this is a dainty 10K rose gold ring, the graphic design is very strong. There are 16 natural greenish blue turquoise cabochons set as teardrop shaped side accents, and a North/South decorative post with prong set natural creamy white tiny seed pearls. In Victorian jewelry often seed pearls indicated tears. Turquoise is the birthstone for December, and Pearl is for June. This ring needs to be worn carefully as both turquoise and pearl are soft, but gorgeous gemstones. This ring is over 186 years and in very good condition. Size 6.5
