Description : Helene Ostby came back to New York City after the sinking of the RMS Titanic where her father was lost. They were on a buying trip to Paris, and when she returned Helene took over the family jewelry business. It continued into the 1950's. This ring is a very mysterious Roman or Greek goddess’s face carved into a square white moonstone tablet and then prong set into a signet style oval setting. Moonstone is the birthstone for June, and is soft enough to lend itself to be carved.
