The warm orange translucent tones of this lovely gemstone, is considered to be symbolic of the hues of human skin. It has been used for thousands of years in jewelry, and often it was reversed carved to be used as an intaglio for a wax signature. This oval tablet is smooth and unadorned, showing the magical warmth and glow of the color and primary qualities of its nature.
