Description : The Byzantine Empire spanned over 1000 years, from 330 AD to the early 1400's. This period was a continuation of the Roman Empire, and was centered in Constantinople. Bronze crosses were worn by many as a statement of their faith in Jesus Christ, and the Virgin Mary. This holy treasure was meant to be worn. It has been transformed into modern day design, set in a gold wash, sterling silver pendant and adorned with heart like points and prong set natural diamonds.
