Victorian 14KY gold, turquoise and round cultured pearl brooch

Description : This brooch is a great example of mixed colored golds and various textures that create and accent an organic botanical motif. Most likely cast, with some hand work details, it holds a lovely cultured pearl as a centerpiece, and is accented by other pearls. The biggest surprise is the tiniest coral cabochon dots we have ever seen in a setting. The intention in this piece is still perceptible after over 100 years of wear. Persian turquoise cabochons are prong set in a somewhat random pattern. At 60mm long and 25mm wide, this pin is a lovely addition to the collection of someone born in December, or June.
