Victorian 18KY gold, diamond and enamel 'Mourning' ring

Description : Possibly also a poison ring, the top enamel star and diamond are hinged to open the compartment on top. A natural old mine cut diamond is prong set inside a recessed 5 pointed star, and then set into a tablet of enamel. Engraved with the phrase, 'In Loving Memory" to someone's love, there are a series of British stamps and hallmarks. In good condition for its age, this ring has been engraved on 2-1-1893. Size 6.5
