Victorian Austrian bronze cast pig miniature

Description : The joy in this miniature sculpture is palpable. A fat little pig kicks up his heels in a moment of happiness. Sculpture is unique in that it captures such a moment, in so realisticallly a manner. This sweet happy little piece is cold painted, which means the pigments were ground and applied not with heat, like enamel but like paint, with a brush.
