Edwardian 9K Yellow gold and Emerald cabochon ring

Description : Today emerald is one of the most valued gemstones on earth. Originally from Colombia, these delightful gems can be found in Zambia, Ethiopia and Pakistan as well. A sumptuous 14mm x 10mm cabochon is set in a decorative 9KY gold setting and hallmarked with the Birmingham, England anchor. The Edwardian period began in 1900 and lasted until around 1921, and was based on King Edward VII's short reign of England. The cabochon emerald in this ring is particularly fine, with a vibrant bluish green color, and few inclusions. Emerald is the birthstone for May. This piece is in very good condition, with little wear. Size 7
