Modern 18 KY gold, ruby and carved onyx Judith Ripka ring

Description : Jusith Ripka is a contemporary artist that started her eponymous business in her apartment in Manhattan in the early 1970's. She quickly rose to fame, and was known for quality craftsmanship, and unique designs specifically created for women. This reproduction of an ancient Roman seal weighs a full 15.74 grams of 18KY gold, and is designed with details as if made 2,000 years ago. The helmeted bust is an intaglio carved into the surface of the onyx, and two, round purplish red cabochon rubies are bezel set to either side.
