Victorian 9K gold and painted porcelain pendant
Victorian 9K gold and painted porcelain pendant
Description : Montreal is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Vieux Montreal, or 'old' Montreal is its center, and is the home to the 1771 Gothic Revival Notre Dame Basilica. Horse drawn carriages lumber along the original cobblestone streets with traffic, and the square is filled with interesting people and history. The painted, 45mm large porcelain oval set in 9K rose gold, is an image of two, green winged angels revealing an unseen figure wearing a crown, and written is De Bon Secours, meaning our Lady of Good Help. The Basilica sits in the middle of the square and is the oldest church in Montreal. It was a symbol of hope for the seamen that left their homes, sometimes for over 7 years. The wear on the top of this pendant is consistant with its age. Porcelain is the gift for an 18th anniversary and often given to royals and political leaders. Chain not included.
