Victorian Gold Fill, Garnet, Turquoise and Seed Pearl locket pendant with chain

Description : Seed pearls were often used to represent tears. This piece might be considered a mourning locket. The garnets are bezel set in very unusual ruffled shapes, and the bright blue turquoise is a nice compliment to the dark red tones of the garnets. The back engraving on this locket is also a really fine detail of this marvelous piece. The pendant locket comes with a hollow rope chain that is 18" long and as a gift is truly ready to wear. Turquoise is the birthstone for December, Garnet for January, and Pearl is the birthstone for June.
