Native American Sterling Silver and turquoise post earrings
Native American Sterling Silver and turquoise post earrings
Description : The Begay family has been silversmithing in the Southwest for several hundred years. Larry Moses Begay was born in 1969 into this famous family, and he continues to hand fabricate Native American Dine/Navajo works of art today. Each piece of turquoise is mined, and hand fashioned into the desired size and shape. The amount of work in these signed and hallmarked earrings is incalculable. Dozens of pear shaped serrated bezel set turquoise gems are arranged in two radiant concentric ovals around a larger organic teardrop shaped center stone. These earrings are 50mm in height and are statement sized. A large plastic backing helps to fasten them securely onto your earlobes. Perfect to wear for that southwest road trip, as LMB has exhibited his work at the famous Santa Fe Market often in the past. These earrings are in near perfect condition. Turquoise is the birthstone for December.
