Art Deco Platinum, Gold Diamond and Sapphire Conversion Earrings
Art Deco Platinum, Gold Diamond and Sapphire Conversion Earrings
Description : Art Deco was a period in time when architecture took center stage in design around the world. The peak of this era was approximately 1920-to 1938. Many Art Deco details are still preserved in the buildings of New York City, and San Francisco. These platinum earrings are classic examples of the style. Measuring 40mm long and 20 mm wide, with a converted Shepherd's hook, they hold 4, round European cut diamonds, G/H color and SI1 in quality totalling .60 carat weight, bezel set, with 60 round rose cut diamond accents totalling .60 carat weight and G/H color, SI1 in clarity. Blue round faceted bezel set, .92 carat weight (total weight) sapphires hang and move from the bottom. The open work lets the light shine through creating a lot of sparkle. Note the yellow gold backing underneath the platinum. These earrings are beautifully crafted in the style of Art Deco, and would make a great gift for someone born in April for diamond, or Sapphire for September.
