Native American Sterling silver and turquoise inlay cuff bracelet

Description : There is very little information about Leonard Jim Navajo jewelry. This cuff speaks volumes of his brilliantly exquisite craftsmanship, however. Massive in size and solid sterling silver weight, seems to be a trademark of his work. The ability to cut graduated rectangular shaped turquoise cabochons takes some serious skill. What is seen here is a mysterious story, where a dancer carries a drum,and is partially revealed as he enters the frame on one side of this geometric, angular shaped cuff. Even more amazing is the cuff tapers from side to side. On the other side appears to be a landscape. The turquoise has the matrix and color of the Bisbee mine, but that is an educated guess. The width of the bracelet from bottom to top is 40mm at its widest point, so this would take a larger wrist and person to wear it comfortably. What an impressive fine art piece of jewelry, manufactured by a master craftsman.
