Victorian upcycled 18KY gold and garnet earrings

Description : As close to the perfect length as you can get, these 18KY gold and garnet teardrops hang from new shepherd's hooks at approximately 30mm long, The pear shaped garnets are set point up, and the design is Etruscan revival from the late 1800's . The Etruscans lived in Northern Italy from 800-300 BCE. Upon unearthing several tombs in the early 19th century, Victorian women became fascinated with the gold jewelry that was found. These lovely drops with their rich colored garnet gems represent love, friendship and fertility.
