Collection: Victorian Era

This time period was during Queen Victoria's reign during the British Empire from 1837-1901. Preceding the Edwardian era it overlaps with the Belle Epoque era of Europe. Considered a liberalizing time there were political reforms which expanding the electoral process. The Victorian population established a standard of behavior which permeated across many continents and remnants can still be seen today in modern history.
