Modern 14KY gold Bee Pin/Pendant
Modern 14KY gold Bee Pin/Pendant
Description : There are several eras of flourishing Minoan divisions throughtout its history. The word 'Minos' referred to a ruler during this time. Minoans lived in what is now known as Greece, from 2700 BCE to 1400 BCE. The bee was a constant image throughout Minoan symbolism. This 35mm wide 14KY gold historical replica convertible pin and pendant, is a reference to the original Minoan bee, designed in these ancient times. The bee had several meanings, including fecundity of the earth, fertility, abundance and divine power. Here you see two bees carrying drops of honey. This design was found in the Herakleion Museum, on the island of Crete in Greece. It also symbolises a matriarchal culture that worships the great Mother. The bee also symbolises hard work, and team work. What a beautiful message, and would be a great gift for Mother's Day.
