161: Art Deco Locket Periwinkle Blue Enamel Sterling Silver Marcasite Necklace

Description : 161: B6159 Art Deco Blue Enamel locket on enamel station chain in sterling silver circa 1915. Locket has urn with flowers accented with marcasites. Old spring ring clasp on sterling silver cable link chain with 8 oval enamel plaques and one enamel finial above the 1 inch drop for the locket. There is minor enamel damage on the chain enamel. The locket and enamel plaques all feature guilloche enamel work with translucent periwinkle/ cornflower blue enamel. This piece is antique and the ware to the enamel is commensurate with the age of the piece. The locket is in very good antique condition with a secure closure which has been recently adjusted by our expert bench jeweler. The instant ancestor photo inside is a bonus!
